I am a professional... This is what I do!

As a professional it is important for us to maintain proper licensing. We must invest and insure in our business if we want to continue growing in the field that we love. Your license states that you are qualified and have passed all of the required examinations necessary to work in the beauty industry is as professional. Your continuing your education says that you are willing to grow and to learn new things as the styles of the new technology continue to evolve. Of course these things are of a great asset for you, but even more so your clients will thank you and rest assure knowing that they are in the great hands of an expert.

Your licensing and continuing education also protects your clients from an uneducated and unlicensed stylist. We are educated on what to do and what not to do in the unforeseen situations that may arise.

Protecting yourself and your business should not be an option but should be a priority. I couldn’t stress this enough… There are people in this world looking for a stylist who is sleeping, unprepared, uneducated, unlicensed, and unprotected. They’re looking for you to be there next get rich scheme. I can’t count how many court shows I have seen the stylist (or want to be stylist) getting sued by clients. Nine times out of ten the client wins because of the stylist being unprepared. This is very sad that you could lose all that you’ve ever worked for an avoidable mistake … Unprepared.... With that being said insure yourself and your business. You can’t afford not to!
